A vibrant, refreshing summer iced tea blending sweet strawberries, tangy lemon, and cooling mint for a crowd-pleasing fruity infusion perfect for gatherings or lazy pool days. Easy to prepare and naturally vibrant.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 large lemon, sliced into thin rounds
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly bruised
4 black tea bags (or green tea/herbal tea for a lighter profile)
6 cups water, divided
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
Ice cups for serving

Instructions

Brew the Tea Base: Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat, submerge the 4 tea bags, and steep for exactly 5 minutes until deep and fragrant. Remove the tea bags and allow the liquid to cool down slightly.
Muddle the Fruits: Place sliced strawberries, lemon rounds, and mint leaves in a heatproof pitcher. Gently muddle with a wooden spoon or potato masher to release juices and oils.
Sweeten and Mix: Pour honey or maple syrup into the warm brewed tea, stirring until fully dissolved.
Combine and Chill: Carefully pour the sweetened tea over the muddled fruit mixture. Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water, stir well, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve: Fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea.

Notes

Use green or herbal tea for a lighter flavor
Adjust sweetener to taste preferences
Infuse longer (up to 2 hours) for stronger fruit flavor
Can substitute mint with basil for a different twist
