Golden, juicy chicken breasts bathed in a rich garlic butter sauce. A quick, flavorful weeknight favorite with pantry-friendly ingredients and a touch of lemon brightness.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chicken broth
Pat chicken breasts dry. Thinly slice or gently pound to ensure even cooking.
Mix salt, black pepper, paprika, and onion powder in a bowl. Season both sides of chicken.
Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F). Remove chicken from pan.
Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and minced garlic to pan. Cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in chicken broth, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Scrape golden bits from the pan.
Return chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over chicken and simmer 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Use chicken thighs for juicier results if breasts tend to dry out.
Store leftovers with sauce in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
