A vibrant, homemade peach lemonade bursting with sunshine flavors. Made with fresh peaches, zesty lemon juice, and simple syrup, this refreshing drink is perfect for summer gatherings. Sweet, tangy, and easy to prepare—all you need is a few pantry staples and ripe fruits.

Ingredients

Scale

4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water (for peach syrup)
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
4 cups cold water
2 cups ice
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 peach, thinly sliced
Fresh mint leaves (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Peel, pit, and slice 4 peaches into small pieces.
Combine peaches, sugar, and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Simmer on medium heat for 8-10 minutes until peaches are soft and syrup is fragrant.
Blender puree the mixture until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer for extra smoothness if desired.
Juice 1 lemon to obtain 1 cup of fresh lemon juice (strain seeds).
In a pitcher, mix peaches syrup, lemon juice, and 4 cups cold water. Stir until well combined.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Add new ice to glasses and pour lemonade. Garnish with peach slices, lemon slices, and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Use fully ripe peaches for maximum sweetness and juiciness
Adjust sugar quantity to taste—add more for tart lemons or less for sweeter fruit
Straining the syrup ensures a silky finish, especially for kids or those who prefer no chunks
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
